The art of romance, hmm. That is definitely a subject that is appropriate for the month of February.
You could turn to music and play a lot of the romantic songs that are out there.
You could wander down the aisles at any store and look at all the chocolates, the flower arrangements, or the greeting cards that are sale to tell the one you love that you have him or her close to your heart and that you are in love with them.
Or you could do a google search and look up how to write a love poem or song to the one that you love.
Would you do something like Cyrano de Bergerac, and stand in shadows because you are afraid the love of your life won't love you back, but sing the song of love anyway with the hope of winning your true love.
Yes, they all could be part of the celebration of "Love is in the air" and to act on it!
I would suggest a twist to the Valentine and love theme for February. Learn to take care of yourself by caring for your heart.
This is not just for people who have diabetes or pre-diabetes. The theme of taking care of your heart is the best way to love yourself for everyone.
So, throughout the month of February, I will have blogs that will give you easy to use tips to improve your heart health. These will include food tips, as well as other ways to love your heart better.
