The best laid plans....Cottage cheese loaf


Maybe other people have had the same thing happen to them.

You have everything arranged. It should turn out perfectly. But then you look at the end results and you have done something incorrect.

Well, I was going to post a beautiful video on how to make Cottage cheese loaf. But did not set the camera up correctly.

But just because it is not video taped doesn't mean that I won't post the recipe.

I like the recipe because it is fast and easy to make. There also can be a few modifications you can make to the recipe which I will also mention.

Cottage Cheese Loaf Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb small curd cottage cheese

  • 1 cup chopped onions

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 3 eggs

  • 4 cups of corn flakes or special K cereal

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 2 tsp chicken seasoning

  • other spices can be added as desired

Modifications - can used bread crumbs instead - would only add about 1 to 1 1/2 cups

egg whites instead of whole eggs

oil can be omitted.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Enjoy.

Even the best laid plans, even when things don't go according to the plan, can still turn out well.
