15 minute chili


Healthy and Fast

If you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen but you want a healthy quick meal, this is just the blog for you!

This 15 minute - or less - recipe is low fat, is a good source of fiber, and tastes great. I use a electric skillet to make mine so I don't even have to turn on the stove.

15-Minute Chili

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

1/4 tbsp Chili powder 1/4 tbsp Cumin seed 1.75 cup Beans, red kidney 1.75 cup Beans, pinto 1/2 cup Salsa 3 1/2 cup Tomatoes diced 1/2 cup, chopped Onions, raw

1 lb raw skinless Ground Turkey

Directions

1. In a large pot, brown turkey with chopped onion. 2. Add beans, tomatoes, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and salsa to turkey mixture. Cook until hot. 3. Serve with cornbread, cooked pasta, cooked rice, or on top of a baked potato. Sprinkle with cheese if desired. Makes 8 servings.
